Mango, Circulose to lead circular fashion

Mango, a leading global fashion brand, has taken a major step in its sustainability journey by becoming the first to collaborate with Circulose, a pioneer in recycled textile pulp production, since its relaunch. Through this partnership, Mango aims to integrate material made from recycled cotton into its supply chain, reinforcing its commitment to circular fashion and reducing its environmental footprint.

The brand will begin using fibres made from CIRCULOSE, a pulp created through a chemical recycling process that transforms discarded cotton-rich textiles. Mango plans to introduce this innovative material into its collections while maintaining transparency and traceability across its supply chain.

“This partnership is a key milestone on our sustainability roadmap. Our aim is to use only low-impact fibres by 2030, and this collaboration brings us closer to that goal,” said Andrés Fernández, Mango’s Sustainability and Sourcing Director. “We want to reshape fashion into a more circular and responsible industry, combining innovation with environmental care. Following our Re-Viste project in Spain, which encourages clothing reuse, this collaboration pushes us further into textile recycling.”

“We are thrilled to have Mango join us as a Circularity Scaling Partner,” said Jonatan Janmark, CEO of Circulose. “Mango’s strong vision for circular fashion matches our mission to offer a complete circularity solution. We look forward to supporting their supply chain transformation by scaling the use of CIRCULOSE®.”
