Major investment from Decathlon Capital Partners for Sheex

The current SHEEX product line-up features several performance sheet fabrications, a performance cooling mattress, duvet covers and coverlets, pillows, comforters, mattress toppers and sleep systems, as well as performance fabric sleepwear in men’s and women’s styles. SHEEX customers are obsessed with the highly innovative, high-tech materials and patented technology found in the brand that all focus on keeping you cool, dry and comfortable while providing an optimal environment for your sleep.

SHEEX®, Inc., the innovative, New Jersey-based, women-founded and owned company that invented the world’s first performance fabric bed sheets, announced a major investment from Decathlon Capital Partners to launch new lines and expand distribution of the company’s innovative performance bedding and sleepwear products. The seven-figure funding will also be used to grow the company’s inventory positions while enhancing the customer service experience as demands are increasing due to higher volumes of sales.

Inspired by the feel and breathability of athletic performance fabrics, Co-Founders/Co-CEOs Michelle Brooke-Marciniak and Susan Walvius, shook up the bedding world in 2007 by inventing a whole new “Performance Bedding” category in home textiles through cool, breathable, moisture-wicking technical fabrics. Since their initial invention, SHEEX has grown from performance bed sheets to sleepwear and mattress lines as well as a full array of “top of the bed” products in various fabrications.

Susan Walvius said that, “We’ve proven the concept of performance bedding in the marketplace,” and “We are now in a great position for high growth.”
Brooke-Marciniak said that, “Our direct-to-consumer strategy and cost-effective digital advertising puts us directly in front of the customers we want to reach,” Also, “Thanks to a very smooth and professional process by Decathlon Capital Partners, we’re ready to tell our story to more people who can benefit from the SHEEX experience.”

Decathlon’s John Borchers said that, “Susan and Michelle have a dynamic vision for growing their company in what promises to be a highly efficient and profitable manner,” Also, “We are pleased to make this investment in their vision.”
