Lenzing Group and Kaihara partner to redefine denim fashion

Lenzing Group, a global company known for making special fibers from wood, and Kaihara, a renowned Japanese denim manufacturer, have joined forces for over three decades and are now taking their partnership to new heights by using TENCEL™ branded fibers in innovative ways.

This collaboration aims to bring Kaihara’s well-established craftsmanship to international markets, aligning with their expansion strategy. The exciting new creations is going to get unveiled during the “Kaihara x TENCEL™ Denim Week” in Tokyo, Japan from October 16 to 21, 2023.

As the demand for premium denim fashion continues to grow, Lenzing and Kaihara are set to explore new frontiers in their partnership, developing fabrics with TENCEL™ fibers that meet the demands of brand partners and consumers worldwide.

Dennis Hui, Global Business Development Manager for Denim at Lenzing, praised Kaihara’s role in their journey of denim fabric innovation.
