Lectra launches AI-powered Apogy platform

Lectra has launched Apogy, a new cloud-based platform designed to improve fashion product development by bringing together artificial intelligence, industry-specific intelligent agents and product data in one digital environment.

Apogy brings product data, processes and teams together in one platform. Its AI-based intelligent agents are designed to handle routine tasks, make information easier to access and support decision-making. According to Lectra, this can help speed up product development while allowing teams to focus more on creativity, innovation and strategic work.

A key part of Apogy is its new generation of intelligent agents, which are designed to support teams throughout the product development process, from the first idea to a prototype ready for industrial production.

Users can create and explore product concepts using prompts, sketches or images. Teams can also work together in real time through a shared platform that tracks changes. Compatibility with commonly used industry formats is intended to make digital prototyping easier, while 3D simulations and realistic digital images can support product reviews and approvals.

Lectra also sees the platform as a way to preserve knowledge within companies. By making existing expertise easier to access across an organisation, Apogy is designed to reduce reliance on individual specialists while helping companies retain important product development knowledge and train new employees.
