Kontoor-Mame-Annan-Brown
Fashion conglomerate, Kontoor Brands, has announced that they have appointed Mame Annan-Brown as its Global Head of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG).
Annan-Brown will oversee Kontoor’s ESG Council, which comprises the company’s worldwide leadership, and will spearhead strategy, integration, reporting, and engagement throughout the Company’s global ESG activities.
The company said the council will strive to build a core ESG framework and roadmap for Kontoor’s ESG vision, as well as prioritize and suggest policies, practices, and disclosures that align with the strategy.
She will also continue to be in charge of worldwide communications and public affairs, overseeing all elements of global corporate communications, government relations, global philanthropy, and charitable giving.
Annan-Brown has almost two decades of experience working with ESG and sustainable investing with organizations such as the World Bank Group and JPMorgan Chase.
