Joint business forum meeting to be held between Pakistan and India

Fourth meeting of the Pakistan-India joint business forum to be held in India, a team of Pakistani delegation will be in India on Wednesday to attend the forum and will be discussion ways and means to further boost trade between the two countries.

The two-day meeting will begin in New Delhi on Thursday in which Syed Yawar Ali Shah, co-chairman of the forum from Pakistan side, will lead the delegation.

The implementation on recommendations of task forces, removal of non-tariff barriers and visa-related issues will also come under discussion during the meeting.

Among the team of 25-member Pakistani delegation leaving for India to include HBL President Noman Dar, member banking and finance of the forum; Noor Muhammad Kasuri, member petroleum and gas sector; Gul Ahmed Textile Chairman Bashir Ali Muhammad, member textile; Descon Chairman Abdur Razzaq Dawood, member engineering sector and Sikandar Mustafa, chairman of millat group of companies.

The forum co-chairman Sunil Kant Munjal will represent India with its members and officials from the ministries of commerce and external affairs at the meeting.
