DuPont and one of India’s leading linen and wool manufacturers, JayaShree Textiles (unit of Grasim Industries Limited) have announced the launch of a fabric collection made with Sorona®, a sustainable, partly bio-based polymer by DuPont Biomaterials.
The collaboration meets the rising need for environmentally friendly fashion choices. The collection of Linen/Sorona® Agile fabric uses a combination of linen and partly bio-based Sorona® fibers to create clothes that have excellent stretch and recovery, an elegant drape, and a smooth, soft hand feel.
Sorona® provides technical and performance advantages such as exceptional softness, elasticity and recovery, and stain resistance without the need for topical treatments. Sorona® is a USDA Certified Biobased Product and an OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified product.
