Interstoff Asian Essential trade fair coming up in Hong with a focus on sustainability

Interstoff Asia Essential, one of Asia’s leading trade fairs for the textile and clothing industry, will return to Hong Kong offering the preeminent platform for discovering the latest fashionable, functional and eco fabrics, as well as the trends for the upcoming seasons through fashion show, trend forum and seminars.

The show’s trend forum will feature a ‘sense of the earth’ theme – a tribute to natural materials.

This year has already seen an increased focus on sustainability for Interstoff Asia, with the spring edition showcasing functional and eco materials, as well as antimicrobial and UV-cut functional fabrics for textile products.

Wendy Wen, senior general manager of Messe Frankfurt HK speaking about the September 2014 show, said that the Four Asian pavilions, from China, Japan, Korea and Taiwan, will yet again bring more high-quality fashionable, functional and eco products to their buyers.

Interstoff Asia will be held from 25-27 September at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
