International Cotton conference organized from 19 Aug in TN

A two-day ‘International Cotton Conference’ is being organized by the Indian Cotton Federation in Tamil Nadu from August 19 which is seeing participation of about 400 people from across the world and India. It will provide an unparalleled networking opportunity with Indian buyers and textile chain and business partnerships with local importers and end users.

P Nataraj, Chairman of the organizing committee of the conference said that a large number of actual users of cotton — textile mills — will be participating in the deliberations, since the region has India’s 50 percent spinning capacity and 70 percent of knitwear garment facilities.

Policy updates, latest trends and future developments for domestic and global markets and price round up, coupled with industry insights from other major global markets, including Bangladesh, China and Uzbekistan, will be major attraction at the conference.

The Cotton conference will provide a platform for the entire textile chain of ginners, mills, garment manufacturers, cotton and yarn traders, textile machinery manufacturers to exchange their views on business opportunities.
