Huntsman wins “Procurement Excellence Award 2017”

Huntsman International India Pvt Ltd won the Procurement Excellence Award 2017. Huntsman was awarded this honour in the ‘Best Procurement Transformation’ category at the 5th Procurement Excellence Awards. The award celebrates excellence in best practices across the industry in the field of procurement.

Huntsman was awarded the honour in recognition of its outstanding work in procurement transformation in various spectrums of the function. The award is one of the most distinguished titles in the industry and provides an opportunity to honour excellence in procurement through its functionality performance and achievement. Huntsman received the award based on criteria such as innovation, execution and success.

The procurement transformation in Huntsman lead by Nilesh Jha – Sr. Director Purchasing, India Subcontinent, Australia, New Zealand, said “This award is result of drive and persistence, a recognition of our affirmation and efforts towards innovation and team effort. It is a pleasure to share this memorable moment with India purchasing team and all the Huntsman associates. We are humbled that our transformation project was appreciated by the eminent juries. The annual awards program, conceived and managed by Kamikaze B2B Media, took place in Mumbai, and had an active participation from an expansive spectrum of the industry. Best of the corporates across different industries participated in the event.

The selection process was based on case studies evaluation highlighting the ethos of outperformance. Each nomination was evaluated by a jury on four parameters – innovation, uniqueness, execution, and success.
