Hong Kong preparing for the fashion summit

The 2019 edition of The Fashion Summit, which bills itself as Asia’s sustainable fashion event, will go ahead in Hong Kong on September 5 and 6.

Co-organisers include the Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel, the Sustainable Fashion Business Consortium and the Clothing Industry Training Authority.

Speakers will include Frank Michel, executive director of the ZDHC Foundation, Shevanthi Fernando, head of sustainability at MAS Intimates Division, Janice Ngai, head of sportswear sourcing at Hugo Boss, Albert Brenninkmeijer, director of the C&A Foundation, and Stanley Szeto, chairman of the Textile Council of Hong Kong.
