Himatsingka Seide likely to achieve its target after a good Q3 result

The Himatsingka Group is a vertically integrated Home Textile major with a global footprint has recorded consolidated earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) (including other income) grew by 2% to Rs 55.71 crore in Q3 December 2014 over Q3 December 2013.

After consolidated net profit increased 42.4% to Rs 24.51 crore on 7.4% fall in total income to Rs 466.93 crore in Q3 December 2014 over Q3 December 2013. The result was announced after market hours on 11 February 2015.

Manufacturing revenues represented by the drapery/upholstery and bedding divisions fell by 8.1% to Rs 243.66 crore in Q3 December 2014 over Q3 December 2013.

The small-cap textile manufacturer has an equity capital of Rs 49.23 crore. Face value per share is Rs 5.

The Group focuses on the manufacture, retail and distribution of Home Textile products. On the manufacturing front, the Group operates amongst the largest capacities in the world for upholstery fabrics, drapery fabrics and bed linen products.

Spread across Asia, Europe and North America, its retail and wholesale distribution divisions carry some of the most prestigious brands in the Home Textile space and cater to Private Label programs of major retailers across these geographies.
