Today, Hainsworth combines the traditional qualities of craftsmanship with innovation and product development to meet the needs of a growing and diverse global customer base. Hainsworth’s premium woollen fabrics are used for high-quality fashion apparel, costume design and ceremonial military dress, as well as for fire PPE, piano felt, aviation interiors and cue sports.

Julie Greenough, Marketing Manager at A.W Hainsworth said that, “Each year we like to introduce a new fabric, structure or texture to the apparel range and the new lambswool cloth adds a beautiful, soft, light element that has previously been missing. The continuation of new developments and research into industry trends is extremely important for us, as it ensures that our collections are not only classical and timeless but also entirely relevant to the coming season.” Also, “Our passion and craftsmanship is evident in the quality of fabrics that leave our mill, and we pride ourselves on our relationships with some of the most aspirational fashion brands in the world. We wanted to invigorate our fashion offering for this upcoming season and feel that the new website helps to communicate what we stand for as a brand – experience, quality, skill.”

A woollen mill in Stanningley, Yorkshire, Hainsworth has announced the launch of a new Spring/Summer fabric collection and disclosed it’s latest colour trends card. As as part of an ongoing commitment to innovation, excellence and quality, the company also invested in a brand-new website.
