Hainsworth launches new Summer fabric collection

Hainsworth has been manufacturing premium quality woollen fabrics at its Yorkshire mill for 235 years. Today, Hainsworth combines the traditional qualities of craftsmanship with innovation and product development to meet the needs of a growing and diverse global customer base. Hainsworth’s premium woollen fabrics are used for high-quality fashion apparel, costume design and ceremonial military dress, as well as for fire PPE, piano felt, aviation interiors and cue sports.

Julie Greenough, Marketing Manager at A.W Hainsworth said that, “Each year we like to introduce a new fabric, structure or texture to the apparel range and the new lambswool cloth adds a beautiful, soft, light element that has previously been missing. The continuation of new developments and research into industry trends is extremely important for us, as it ensures that our collections are not only classical and timeless but also entirely relevant to the coming season.” Also, “Our passion and craftsmanship is evident in the quality of fabrics that leave our mill, and we pride ourselves on our relationships with some of the most aspirational fashion brands in the world. We wanted to invigorate our fashion offering for this upcoming season and feel that the new website helps to communicate what we stand for as a brand – experience, quality, skill.”

A woollen mill in Stanningley, Yorkshire, Hainsworth has announced the launch of a new Spring/Summer fabric collection and disclosed it’s latest colour trends card. As as part of an ongoing commitment to innovation, excellence and quality, the company also invested in a brand-new website.

The website has also has met with a complete re-design to more effectively tell the story of Hainsworth and communicate the ethos of the brand. Visitors can browse all of the fabric collections, request samples and view the latest collaborations with fashion designers and houses. “From jewel tones to earthy hues and classic monochrome, the latest trend card for A/W 2019-20 has been created to inspire fashion designers and showcase the diverse range of shades and finishes offered by Hainsworth.” Hainsworth is devoted to balance its heritage with innovation and the latest industry trends.

Each year, fashion industry forecasts for the coming season inspire eight colour trend collections, which are edited using the entire range of Hainsworth fabrics and presented in a foldout portfolio.
