GoBlue International opens doors to new partners

GoBlue International, a sustainable accelerator has opened doors to new partners and clients to its BHive chemical management platform.

The platform aims to support a three year public or private partnership between the German service provider GIZ and fashion brands Bestseller, Deltex, Lindex and Orsay to improve chemical management in over 600 factories.

GoBlu stated that the BHive would play a significant role in supporting the project parties digesting their chemical management practices

The platform has also tied hands with Huntsman Textile Effects, which is a leading global provider of high quality dyes and chemicals to the textile industry. They have also onboarded two retail fashion brands, French company Kiabi and sustainable workwear specialist Brands Fashion as clients.

ToxServices, a scientific consultant who provides toxicology, hazard and risk assessment services has also joined the BHive. They have also partnered with the Open Apparel Registry  that aims to untangle the supply chain through a systematised registry which assigns a unique ID number at each facility.

The BHive is now available in two more languages, Spanish and Turkey. They have expanded their market hold into Latin America where it is now being utilised by several factories in Mexico and Brazil.

The platform has been developed to catalogue chemical formulations that enables users to access product specific information by utilising smartphones to photograph labels

Their database comprises over 74,00 chemical products and has been rolled out to more than 300 facilities across 11 countries to generate 6000 chemical inventories.
