GFA
The Global Fashion Agenda (GFA) has announced that it would be expanding the conference from its Copenhagen beginnings and bringing its new international edition of the Global Fashion Summit to Singapore.
The goal of this edition’s summit, scheduled for November 2, is to better understand how the industry can work together to minimize its social and environmental impact throughout the entire value chain. The summit will concentrate on the perspectives of manufacturers and supply chain partners in this regard.
Its theme expands on the GFA’s “Alliances for a New Era” concept and will bring together a variety of professionals and experts from many industries to collaborate in an effort to hasten transformation.
The organization said in a statement that by moving to Asia, more partners will be able to participate in the program and talk about the difficulties they have while tackling the subject of sustainable development.
Plenary sessions will address topics such the transition of renewable energy, pay systems, and performance assessment. Additionally, half of the program will be devoted to instructive case studies with recommendations to assist attendees become involved.
The CEO of GFA, Federica Marchionni, said that it is obvious that manufacturers and supply chain partners play a significant role and must be taken into account when confronting sustainability. He is excited about the summit’s international version in Singapore, where we can forge new and stronger ties within the industry.
