Glen Raven, Phifer to launch new sunbrella sling fabric

Glen Raven Material Solutions Group and Phifer Incorporated have announced a new partnership to deliver high-quality Sunbrella Sling fabric for outdoor furniture, including chairs, chaises longues, and other seating. As part of the collaboration, Phifer will license the Sunbrella brand to design and produce a range of soft, textural sling fabrics made with Sunbrella yarns.

The new Sunbrella Sling fabric uses proprietary technology that combines the strength of PVC with the softness of Sunbrella acrylic yarn, creating added comfort. It is also stain-resistant and easy to clean, making it a practical and stylish choice for outdoor living.

“By combining the trusted performance and design leadership of Sunbrella with Phifer’s technical expertise in sling fabrics, we are setting a new benchmark for both durability and beauty in outdoor furnishings,” said Suzie Roberts, vice president and general manager of furnishings at Sunbrella. “This partnership allows us to meet the changing needs of customers with fabrics that are stylish, comfortable, and built to last.”
