FT with the takeover of FD adds new product line

For over 100 years, Frankl & Thomas, Inc., Greenville has provided textile manufacturers of all types with innovative and customized product solutions. F&T, as part of its expansion plan takes over Feil & Davidson, Inc., Greensboro, N.C. F&D who specializes in products for short-staple spinning. Its best-known products were Kanai spinning rings and wire, as well as Spindlefabrik Neudorf spindles and Yamauchi spinning aprons.

F&T President Al Thomas said that there is a renaissance in American short-staple spinning. Feil & Davidson had a commanding position serving American short-staple spinning plants. At least five new plants are under construction or have final plans. They are pleased to be in a position to better serve the short-staple segment of the American textile industry.

The inventory of F&D has been shipped to the new Warehouse B in Greenville, and that all F&D shipments are now made from Greenville.

F&T established in 1946, is active in replacement parts and accessories for modern weaving machines, long-staple spinning, synthetic fiber production and nonwovens. F&T after acquiring F&D, has added a new product line and will be now able to provide service for America’s short-staple segment too.
