FESPA has introduced a new series of technical guides on Colour management and pre-production data management which are available free of charge for members of FESPA’s national associations as part of its commitment to education and knowledge sharing.
More sets will be rolled out during the year. Each set includes an introductory overview, two information specific guides, as well as a frequently asked questions document. The guides, which are funded through FESPA’s Profit for Purpose programme, are free-of-charge for members of FESPA’s associations and will be available digitally to download.
FESPA’s General Secretary Sean Holt said that FESPA is always looking for new ways to add value for members of their associations. In this rapidly developing industry, they know it is time consuming for printers to stay up to date with developments, and costly to obtain vendor-neutral information.
Their technology guides will provide expert technical guidance on topics relevant to all wide format and speciality print businesses.
Other recent educational initiatives funded through FESPA’s Profit for Purpose programme include onsite conferences at FESPA events in Europe,
China, Africa and Eurasia, the launch of the Printeriors Conference, as well as four regional congresses in the Nordic region, Southern Europe, Mexico and Africa.
In 2014 FESPA hosted two Digital Textile Conferences in Italy and Turkey and re-launched FESPA’s Planet Friendly Guides, which are now accessible in 11 individually tailored guides.
The technology guides are just one of the educational benefits available to members of FESPA associations.
