FCCI to participate at the Jakarta Textile Expo 2015

Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) to partake in Jakarta Textile Expo as it would not only give a new potential market to Pakistan but also help in further enhancing their bilateral trade. It will also exploit its good offices to make it a total success, said President FCCI Engineer Rizwan Ashraf said while talking to Ambassador of Indonesia Burhan Muhammad during a special function held here on Tuesday.

Engineer Rizwan Ashraf welcomed the organization of first ever Jakarta Textile Expo 2015. He suggested that Indonesia should consider direct air-links between Faisalabad and Jakarta with one year multiple visa facility for traders on the recommendation of FCCI.

He told that China is already issuing one year multiple visas on the recommendation of FCCI and Indonesia should also adopt this system to enhance trade volume.

Burhan Muhammad said that Indonesia is organising Textile Expo for the first time at a highest level to make the 60th Independence Day of Indonesia. More than 100 leading companies from Asia and Africa would be participating in this Expo scheduled to be held from April 21 to 25. He hoped that FCCI will play a major role in making this expo a total success being representative of the main textile city of Pakistan. He assured that Islamabad Embassy will fully facilitate the participants of this expo. He said that participants of this expo could also explore new opportunities of trade with Indonesia in addition to marketing their textile products. He hoped that maximum numbers of Pakistani exporters would participate in Jakarata Expo.
