Innatex
The winter edition of Innatex, the international trade expo for sustainable fashion, has been rescheduled for February. The organizers, MUVEO GmbH, changed their preparations in response to the latest viral expert forecasts and the changing scenario about the propagation of the Omicron version in January, which remains unclear.
The organizers plan to reschedule the event for mid-to-late February. The organizers said in a news release that they are now discussing the exhibitors and intend to reach a decision in the coming days.
Alexander Hitzel, Innatex project manager, said that they’re in frequent contact with their exhibitors and partners, and they’re aware that the green fashion community requires a platform for winter orders. Given the number of live events that have been canceled this season, they believe it is more important than ever to facilitate a meeting where items can be exhibited, orders can be received, and people can network – even if the conditions are more difficult.
Hitzel added that they’re in constant contact with the authorities, but they’ll have to wait for more information before they can start planning the event. By now, they know what they’re doing and can change and react quickly to governmental decisions and the pandemic’s changing trajectory.
MUVEO is one of a very tiny handful of fair organizers who have been able to maintain a safe six-monthly ordering platform with a complete hygiene policy and practice during the epidemic.
