ESCORIAL partners with FibreTrace to enhance real-time traceability

Rare and luxurious ESCORIAL, has partnered with FibreTrace® to provide verified and audited real-time traceability on their patented ESCORIAL fiber.

The collaboration provides spinner-to-garment traceability to solve industry difficulties such as wool fibers being combined at the market to reach volume, hence delivering the sought-after anti-counterfeiting solution.

The ESCORIAL fiber is marked with the patent FibreTrace® pigment at spinning in partnership with Suedwolle Group enabling real-time verification across the worldwide supply chain.

The spun yarn is linked to validated ESCORIAL wool production certificates, allowing you to trace your steps back to the woolgrower.

Peter Radford Founder and CEO of The ESCORIAL Company, said that sustainability has been at the center of ESCORIAL since day one. The limited number of ESCORIAL flocks with hand selection of fleeces provide a traceable to origin assurance. The beauty of ESCORIAL is the fiber’s unique spring-like shape, which enables the production of remarkable clothes with distinct quality and performance. This increases both the wearer’s comfort and confidence.

The traceability journey of ESCORIAL begins with the spinning process when a FibreTrace® sliver fiber is used to form a traceable ESCORIAL yarn. By connecting the traceable yarn to the digital chain of custody via test certificates and purchase records, fully digital and physical traceability is achieved.

To detect and verify the potency of the ESCORIAL wool signature, the wool is audited at every stage of the supply chain using a FibreTrace® Bluetooth handheld scanner.
