Elevate Textiles, a global producer of sophisticated, high-quality goods and mission-critical textile solutions, is pleased to announce the publication of its Sustainability Report for 2022. Elevate Textiles and its prestigious brands, such as American & Efird (A&E), Burlington, Cone Denim, Gütermann, and Safety Components, report on current initiatives to further the company’s commitments and updates to the company’s 2025 Sustainability Goals.
Elevate details its efforts on its Ten Threads of Sustainability program, an internal initiative aimed at promoting sustainably sourced fibers, reduced water consumption, and lower greenhouse gas emissions. The Ten Threads guide Elevate’s sustainable decision-making and support the company’s Sustainability Goals for 2025. The company’s participation and leadership in global industry collaborations, as well as alignment with the UN Global Compact’s Ten Principles, are highlighted in the 2022 Annual Report, which also highlights how Elevate’s actions directly support key UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) commitments.

Elevate’s progress and important accomplishments over the past year are highlighted in the 2022 Sustainability Report, which includes: Elevate became the first global textile manufacturer to receive validation of its Science-Based Target goals to include increasing the company’s ambition by raising reduction targets.
Since 2019, there has been an 8.2 percent drop in absolute greenhouse gas emissions (updated baseline year.) The company’s first rooftop solar installation in China was completed, boosting renewable energy adoption. Since 2016, absolute worldwide water consumption has decreased by 22.1 percent. Global alignment with the ZDHC Manufacturer’s Restricted Substance List has been improved (MRSL).
