Devan Chemicals launches new textile stain release technology

Devan Chemicals proudly introduces its latest textile finishing innovation called “Devan Stain Release,” focusing on sustainability and performance. This breakthrough technology ensures easy removal of both water and oil-based stains from fabrics.

The new release finish from Devan prevents stubborn stains like ketchup, mud, tea, and oils from penetrating deeply into fibers, allowing them to be easily washed off the surface. Combining stain release and wicking properties, it suits applications requiring both benefits.

Dr. Roberto Teixeira, Chief Technology Officer at Devan Chemicals, expresses excitement about the technology’s launch. He highlights its sustainability aspect, being PFC-free with 40% bio-based content, providing effective protection against various stains, empowering consumers to enjoy textiles with confidence.

Devan Stain Release is suitable for a wide range of textile applications, including school uniforms, garments, home textiles, and bedding accessories. Additionally, it extends fabric lifespan by reducing the need for frequent washing, contributing to a more sustainable consumption cycle.
