Circulose, Tangshan Sanyou to scale sustainable textile production

Circulose, a global leader in recycled pulp production, has entered a strategic partnership with Tangshan Sanyou Chemical Fiber, a top player in the cellulose fiber industry. This collaboration marks a major step toward the commercialization and scaling of CIRCULOSE. Together, the two companies will focus on ensuring that ReVisco fibers, made using CIRCULOSE pulp, meet market standards for quality, supply capacity, and pricing, reinforcing their shared commitment to circular and renewable materials.

“We are excited to strengthen our partnership with Tangshan Sanyou,” said Jonatan Janmark, CEO of Circulose. “This is a significant milestone in our global expansion, fostering deeper collaboration with innovative fiber producers and sustainability-driven brands. As the first major partnership since Circulose’s restructuring, this alliance will be instrumental in the scalable development of ReVisco fibers.”

“Tangshan Sanyou firmly believes in the potential of recycling cotton textile waste to create a greener industry,” said Zhang Dongbin, Executive Vice President of Tangshan Sanyou Chemical Fiber. “We are confident in the market demand for CIRCULOSE and its new strategic direction. With strong investment backing and a market-driven approach, we believe Circulose will bridge the gap between brands and suppliers, pioneering a new era for circular textiles.”

By combining Circulose’s cutting-edge textile recycling technology with China’s large-scale supply chain, this partnership will accelerate the shift toward a circular textile economy. Tangshan Sanyou’s innovative ReVisco fibers will not only meet the growing demand for sustainable materials but also drive a transformative change in the industry, moving from raw materials to fabrics (T2T) on a global scale.
