Stahl, a Netherlands-based global chemistry supplier, has received an EcoVadis Gold rating, putting it in the top 5% of firms reviewed by EcoVadis. Stahl’s commitment to maintaining value chain transparency and collaborating with partners to improve the sustainability of operations and products is underlined in this award.
EcoVadis is a worldwide recognized evidence-based assessment platform that evaluates an organization’s performance across key areas critical to achieving sustainability goals, such as the ethics, environment, labor, and human rights, and sustainable procurement impacts. The latest report from EcoVadis highlights Stahl’s good performance in all of these categories. According to the press release, Stahl’s positive performance in all of these categories is highlighted in the latest assessment report from EcoVadis.
The Gold grade for this year builds on the Silver rating for 2020. In the last year, the business has committed to improving its environmental and social performance, safeguarding the communities in which it operates, and building a better chemical industry with partners from across the value chain. Stahl’s 2030 goal is to keep the EcoVadis Gold certification by making continuous improvements.
