CCILU reveals shoe made from ocean plastic

Japanese shoe manufacturer CCILU is starting a shoe that uses upcycled Sea development and research.

GreenPlax technologies will first be offered in a design called Renee Via financing site Kickstarter, moving later into CCILU stores.

The organization plans to share GreenPlax technology with other footwear Companies” to assure a grand sharing and dissemination of the cutting-edge invention”.

CEO Wilson Hsu said, “Every second, we throw off one million plastic bottles round the world. Only 4% are properly recycled. Most finally wind up in the oceans and it takes around 1,000 years for The bottles to be decomposed.

“The COVID-19 pandemic just gives us a heavy lesson which we have been Over-riding and over-loading ourselves along with our mother earth because the we have to react immediately and do things completely different.

CCILU uses centralized tools in Taiwan to produce the master Batch of GreenPlax material which could be shared with other manufacturers.

Hsu added, “Our ultimate goal in the Brief term is to design and grow the first carbon-negative’ shoes from the year 2021, and to get The footwear industry and the consumers adopt the concepts and products addressing circular sharing and economy.”
