Carvico to showcase new warp-knitted stretch fabrics

Carvico will present its latest developments in technical warp-knitted stretch fabrics at Performance Days in Munich, taking place from October 13 to 14, 2026. The collection features fabrics designed for sportswear, outdoor clothing, athleisure and casual apparel.

One of the new developments is Iseo, a lightweight fabric featuring two contrasting surfaces. One side has a compact, brushed construction with a matte appearance and a natural feel, while the other is smooth and designed to provide a clean and well-defined garment fit. This double-sided construction allows the fabric to be used in different ways.

Another fabric is Denver, which offers a different approach by combining the soft feel of traditional leggings fabrics with the structural and performance benefits of warp knitting. The fabric has a smooth, compact and fully opaque surface. Its stretch and recovery properties are designed to provide a close fit that follows the body while maintaining its shape.

Kyoto highlights the possibilities of bonded warp-knitted fabrics. It combines a highly matte technical surface with a surprisingly soft and fluid feel, bringing together functional performance and a refined appearance. Its stretch, comfort and fit make Kyoto suitable for technical sportswear, particularly garments designed for transitional weather. Its natural drape also allows it to be used in casual and lifestyle clothing, including jackets, trousers, bomber jackets and lightweight coats.

Versailles, one of the new innovative developments, brings a woven-style appearance to warp knitting. Its stretch corduroy construction combines a warm, soft surface with the flexibility and comfort needed for modern casual and sports-inspired clothing.

Carvico has developed the fabric to retain its original appearance even after repeated washing and extended use. Its potential applications include stretch jackets and trousers designed for leisure, sports-inspired activities and everyday wear.
