Archroma receives platinum rating by EcoVadis for CSR

Archroma, a global pioneer in specialty chemicals for sustainable solutions, announced that it has received the EcoVadis “Platinum” grade in corporate social responsibility (CSR), placing it among the top 1% of its industry’s best-rated companies.

EcoVadis, a company specializing in assessing firms’ CSR performance on a global scale, assessed Archroma. The evaluation is based on 21 factors divided into four categories: environment, labor, and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. EcoVadis evaluates over 75,000 businesses across 160 countries and 200 industries.

Archroma has set a target to get the EcoVadis “Platinum” rating, participating in the assessment for the fourth year in a row.

Archroma has established itself as a global pioneer in producing ideas and systems that help consumers save money, boost productivity, and create value. The company refers to this commitment as “The Archroma Way to a Sustainable World: Safe, efficient, enriched, it’s our nature.”

Heike van de Kerkhof, CEO at Archroma, said that sustainability is a process,. They only started using the EcoVadis assessments four years ago. Their continued efforts and hard work to improve their societal, environmental, and economic performance, as well as that of their consumers, has gotten them to the Platinum level!
