Ambercycle x Benma
Los Angeles-based Ambercycle, a leader in circular materials, has partnered with Benma, a sustainability solutions provider from Huangshan City, China, to accelerate circularity in textiles through the production of cycora® fibers.
“Ambercycle has demonstrated leadership in advancing circular solutions, and we are proud to collaborate with them on scaling this transformative innovation,” said Xu, chairman at Benma. “Decarbonized polyester is crucial for enhancing sustainability in our industry. This partnership strengthens our ability to provide a wider range of high-quality, circular fibers, helping global brands meet their sustainability goals.”
By combining Ambercycle’s expertise in circular material technology with Benma’s strong manufacturing infrastructure, the partnership aims to scale cycora® fibers and increase the availability of regenerated staple fibers in the global market.
“Working with Benma allows us to expand cycora®’s potential by introducing it into staple fibers,” said Shay Sethi, co-founder and CEO of Ambercycle. “Their support in scaling our efforts highlights our shared commitment to innovation and sustainability. This collaboration not only enables growth but also opens new pathways for brands to integrate circular materials into their supply chains and products.”
