Adidas and Karlie Kloss launch a sustainable activewear collection

The supermodel, Karlie Kloss, has teamed up with Adidas to create their first activewear collection. The collection is a melange of versatile activewear, ranging from the essential high-performance workout bra and tights to trend-inspired streetwear. The collection aims to empower women to harness the power of an active life.

The collection has been inspired by Karlie Kloss’s wardrobe and her background in sports. It has also been inspired by her love for running. The collection’s tone is bold and hints tones of playful orange.

The collection’s main goal is to reduce the use of plastic and compose a more sustainable product. To do so they have decided to use PRIMEBLUE, which is a high- performance recycled material made in part with Parley Ocean Plastic and PRIMEGREEN. Their collection has been designed to provide optimum comfort and performance. The collection also highlights Adidas’ AEROREADY fabric technology to ensure the wearer feels dry as they engage in activities.

Karlie Kloss stated that staying active is an integral part of her physical and mental health and that she has learnt so much about teamwork and community from participating in sports throughout her life. She added that designing a collection with Adidas was truly a dream come true. She hopes the collection inspires the next generation of women to use sport to fuel their passions and achieve their ambitions.

Josephine Aberg, the VP of Design at Adidas, stated that Adidas was committed to finding partners who share their vision of changing lives through sports. He added that Karlie’s passion for sport, fashion, tech and innovation and her ongoing commitment to creating opportunities for young women through personal projects made her the perfect fit to collaborate on a collection that inspires women everywhere to embrace sport to foster a strong body and mind.
