| Company Profile | The Prag Bosimi Synthetics Limited is a Joint Sector Undertaking promoted by the Government of Assam through Assam Industrial Development Corporation Limited (AIDC) and Shri.H.B.Vyas Group. The Company manufactures Polyester Filament Yarn (PFY) and Partially Oriented Yarn (POY) at a capacity of 36,000 tons per annum at its plant in Guwahati, Assam. The Prag Bosimi Synthetics Limited is the first and only of its kind in the entire North Eastern Region and has Pioneer Status. The Plant has both continuous and Batch polycondensation facilities designed to use DMT or PTA as Raw Material (dual feed capability), as well as Continuous and Batch (extruder) spinning facilities. The Continuous Polycondensation facility has also a side stream of chips production. A downstream yarn processing unit has also been installed with a capacity of 5000 tpa, comprising texturising, draw-twisting, up-twisting and dyeing facilities. |
