| Product Description | CONTEX® new elastic yarn ST100 is known as a new type of bicomponent elastic yarn, featuring permanent spiral crimpness, excellent elasticity and elastic recovery as well as extremely soft hand feel and outstanding color fastness. ST100 has overcome defects of spandex yarn in respects of high temperature, alkaline and chlorine resistant.Advantages: It has not only solved many problems of spandex yarn like dyeing difficulty, excessive elasticity, complicated weaving process, unstable fabric dimensions and susceptibility to ageing in case of use, but also can be directly woven on air-jet, water-jet and rapier looms, not like spandex yarn, which can be woven only after being made into covered yarn. This reduces yarn cost and increases uniformity of product quality. |
