      POLYESTER CHIPS

PET chip prices were stable during the week of 21 April. This was the seventh successive week of stable prices. PET chips (semi dull, continues spinning filament grade) prices were ruling in the range of US$1,000-1,010 a ton FOB Southeast Asia as of 21 April. Offer from Taiwan for semi dull, filament grade chips was at US$1,000-1,010 a ton FOB, rolling over previous week's prices. Water-bottle-grade chips prices moved up US$30 a ton and were in the range of US$1,120-1,140 per ton Korea FOB.
