Produced in Thailand by parent company IVL, CoolVisions 70/72 dyeable polypropylene filament is Oeko-Tex certified. Options include CoolVisions Standard for light to medium dyes; and CoolVisions Dark, which achieves deeper shades with less dyestuff on dark colours. Development in a wider range of deniers and cross sections is ongoing. CoolVisions dyeable polypropylene filament is available directly from IVL or their distributor, Reamou, in Taiwan.
Humans lose about 60% of body heat through thermal radiation. In order to stay warm, insulations made out of down, synthetic or fleece are typically used in outerwear. The thicker the insulation, the less heat loss and the warmer the person. For the active person or traveller, the goal is to find the same warmth without all the bulk. The Company explains that HeiQ XReflex does just that. The innovative radiant barrier technology allows outerwear, midlayers, sleeping bags, etc. to maintain the required level of warmth while reducing bulk by as much as 50%.

Norwegian company Madshus is the oldest still existing ski manufacturer in the world and one of the globally leading brands for XC skis, boots and poles. Both brands underline their common brand values and their focus on highly innovative premium products in the same market – while offering completely different products: skis (boots and poles) on the one side, apparel on the other side.
Capitalise on coral - Pantone named Living Coral the 2019 colour of the year. Typically seen as an accent or pop of colour, coral is taking the centre stage as a catalyst for design. With its vivid warm tones, it brightens rooms with its vibrant hues and pairs beautifully with all neutrals and warm and cool colours. Deep in the evergreens - Earthy, calming, dark shades of green are on the rise in the design market. In hues ranging from natural pine to jewel-like emeralds, green is making a big comeback. The key to this trend is the cast, which is leaning toward blue.
Paul Sharp, head of sales at waxed cotton specialist British Millerain, said that the show had hit its stride this season and that sustainable cotton was a key talking point. Also, “It feels like the show has got bigger and better this season. Sometimes you have to wait a while before footfall really gets going, but this season we had people on the stand from 9am on the first day. People are definitely asking about sustainability and, for us, they have been particularly interested in BCI [Better Cotton Initiative] cotton.”
