Nylon yarn prices see mixed movements in Asia

In China, FDY70D/24F SD prices were up US cent 1 a kg while FDY40D rolled over on the week. DTY 70D/24F prices remained unchanged while 30D/10F were down US cents 9 a kg on the week. Monofilament 30D prices were flat while nylon staple fiber 1.5D prices fell US cents 3 a kg during the week.

Nylon filament yarn prices rolled over in line with stable and firm nylon chip and caprolactum costs. Yarn makers stopped incurring losses and made slight profit margins. Demand was modest as warp?knitting, weaving and AJ covering sector witnessed smooth liquidity while circular?knitting mills and lacing mills ran at 50% capacities.

As the slack season draw to an end, downstream converters replenished and followed up. In non?textile sectors, staple fiber, fishing?net yarn and monofilament markets showed stable performance.
