Nylon yarn market remains ranged bound in China

In China, semi-dull FDY70D/24F prices fell US cents 2 a kg in the fourth week of June while FDY40D were flat on the week. Nylon DTY 70D/24F prices were unchanged while 30D/10F were stable during the week. Nylon staple fiber 1.5D prices rolled over while monofilament 30D prices were steady on the week.

Nylon filament yarn prices rolled over on the back of flat nylon chip and caprolactum cost, with low?end goods still available. Producers attempting to hike prices met with resistance.

Downstream, warp?knitting, weaving and AJ covering mills witnessed moderate liquidity while circular?knitting mills and lacing mills reduced operating rate lacking new orders. Prices for cord fabric stood unchanged on the back of slow demand from tire sector.
