Blended yarn price slightly drops in China, stable in India

In China, PC (65/35) 32s yarn prices edged down US cent 1 a kg in the third week of April in Qianqing, while 45s PC combed yarn prices were flat on the week.

Offers and trade price in China for blended yarn dropped slightly on the week given the downward movement in fibre prices. The reduction is also due to the current weakness in demand.

In India, blended yarn prices continued to roll over despite some fall in cotton and PSF prices in recent week.

In Pakistan, PC and PV yarns prices stayed unchanged in the week, in line with the stability of fiber prices. Cotton prices were firm due a lack of available volume and a rise in demand as the next crop will not reach markets before July.
