		Polyester Chain
	Polyester Staple Fiber Price Trends   PSF prices in Taiwan and Pakistan declined while was steady in China and India. 1.4D/38mm SD in China was quoted at US$1.67/kg and in Taiwan, was at US$1.35/kg.     Polyester Filament Yarn Price Trends   PFY market saw a weakening sentiment across markets especially in Malaysia where it was mixed in the week. POY 75D/36F in Malaysia and Indonesia were 2 cents higher to US$1.55/kg.     Purified Terephthalic Acid Price Trends   PTA prices increased US$10-US$15 across markets. PTA offers in Korea and Taiwan was quoted at US$1,100/ton while Chinese imports were at a price in the range of US$995-US$1,010/ton while the domestic producer sold it at a price of US$1,128/ton.     Paraxylene Price Trends   Paraxylene prices shot-up across markets as crude oil rose to record highs. In Korea, it increased US$65 to US$1,360/ton while in Europe, rose only US$25 to US$1,245/ton. Paraxylene nomination prices were not revised.     Polyester Chips - Fiber Grade Price Trends   Polyester chips in China and Pakistan saw a fall in its prices but Semi-dull, fibre grade in Taiwan and ROK increased.US$20/ton.Super bright, fil grade in China fell US$28.63/ton to US$1,486/ton.     Monoethylene Glycol Price Trends   MEG prices increased in the week, pulled by the increase in paraxylene price. Front month offer in Korea increased by US$15 to US$1,085/ton. In China, MEG ranged from US$1,070 - US$1,100/ton. MEG\'s nomination price was kept unchanged by the major producers.     Ethylene Price Trends   Ethylene prices in Europe declined by US$25 to US$1,455/ton while in US gulf and Asia increased by US$40-US$70. Ethylene in US Gulg was at US$1,243/ton. In NE Asia and SE Asia it was at US$1,440/ton and US$1,400/ton.

		Nylon Chain
	Nylon Filament Yarn Price Trends   NFY market was sluggish and its prices declined in the week in India and China. POY 20D/1 Bright fell 43 cents to US$5.90/kg while in China it declined by 4-7 cents for DTY specs.     Benzene Price Trends   Benzene prices in the week increased across markets. Benzene in Korea increased US$65 to US$1,211/ton and in US Gulf increased US$53.82 to US$1,206/tons.     Polyamide Chips Price Trends   Nylon chips saw some steady sentiments in the week across specs with some exceptions. SD high speed spinning from Taiwan in China increased by US$20 to US$2,770/ton, whereas local prices of SD high speed spinning in China fell by US$14 to US$3,428/ton.     Caprolactum Price Trends   Caprolactum in the week saw some weakening across markets. Caprolactum in FE Asia and SE Asia was quoted at US$2,505/ton falling US$10. Chinese imports were in the range of US$2,530-US$2,550/ton. DSM nomination declined US$29 to US$3,185/ton.

		Acrylic Chain
	Acrylic Staple Fiber Price Trends   1.5D/38mm in Taiwan was increased 2 cents to US$2.47/kg while the spec in China inched up by a cent to US$2.61/kg. In India, however it fell in dollar terms by 6 cents as rupee appreciated against dollar.       Acrylonitrile Price Trends   Acrylonitrile prices increased across markets as demands has been good along with crude oil prices. Acrylonitrile in North China increased by US$30 to US$2,371/ton.       Propylene Price Trends   Propylene prices in Korea increased in Korea by US$70 to US$1410/ton. Last week, propylene prices in Japan was at US$1,390/ton, while in SE Asia was at US$1,410/ton.

		Viscose Chain
	Viscose Staple Fiber Price Trends   VSF prices in Indian and China further lost some ground. 1.5-2.0D dull in India fell US$2.73/kg while 1.5D/38mm in China fell to US$2.56/kg.       Viscose Filament Yarn Price Trends   VFY prices in most markets were steady in the week. 75D bright and dull was US$7.71/kg. But prices of 10D bright in India increased by 14 cents to US$5.94/kg.

		Others
	Naphtha Price Trends   Naphtha prices have been consistently tracking crude oil prices. In Japan, naphtha prices increased US$14 to US$974/ton. Mediterranean cargoes increased US$60 to US$900/ton.       Crude Oil Price Trends   Crude oil rose to a record US$124.73/barrel in New York on concerns of supplies of diesel and gasoline may be insufficient to meet demand during the U.S summer driving season.       Wool Price Trends   Wool prices in Australia as measured by the AWEX EMI index fell 11 cents to US$8.34/kg. Prices declined in all regions of Australia.       Cotton Price Trends   Cotton prices have steadied in the last couple of weeks after reaching record prices. Cotlook A index averaged at the last week’s price at US$1.63/kg. New York Futures averaged at US$1.50/kg increasing.
