New Zealand - Wool prices ease again |

| |
Wool prices have eased for the second consecutive week.
Wool Services International, says nearly a third of the 12,500 bales on offer at this week's North Island sale were passed in.
That was mainly due to a strong dollar and slower demand.
High volumes of previously passed in wool also contributed to the reduced prices.
Coarse cross bred shears were up to 3% cheaper, and coarse fleece also eased 1%.
Fine crossbred shears held firm.
The exception was longer coarse lambs wool, which was up to 2% dearer, although finer short lambs wool eased by 2%.
The next sale on 12 April will comprise 13,000 bales of South Island wool.
