PRGMEA Central Chairman Ijaz Khokhar said that the IAF will address major issues being faced by the textile industry of Pakistan and bring those issues to limelight, including compliance, gender training and exchanges of delegations.

Textile exports increased 5.9 percent as the sector geared up efforts to meet government's exports increment target to qualify for incentives.

According to Dagha, cost of doing business is higher in Pakistan compared to neighbouring countries, but it is not the only hurdle in exports as they have not played their role in value addition… industrial production remains lower.
