YnFx – Fibre and yarn Exports - India Report covers monthly analysis of the Indian all kinds of fibres spun yarns and filament yarn exports based on data from Indian ports. It covers natural and MM fibres, spun yarns made of cotton, viscose, polyester, acrylic, and their blends filament yarns made of polyester, nylon polypropylene and viscose. Volumes, value and unit price realization are the three major indicators analysed by counts and destinations.
The report is based on data available from all major ports (Air, Sea & ICDs) of India, namely Ankleshwar, Bombay Air, Calcutta Sea, Cochin Sea, Delhi Air, Delhi PPG ICD, Delhi TKD ICD, Hazira, Hyderabad ICD, JNPT, Ludhiana ICD, Madras Air, Madras Sea, Mundra, Nagpur, Petrapole Road, Pipavab, Pithampur ICD, Tuticorin ICD, Tuticorin Sea and Vizag Sea.
In February 2017, 87 countries imported spun yarn from India, with China at the top accounting for 27 per cent of the total value with imports declining 33.4 per cent in terms of volume YoY and plunging 26.8 per cent in value YoY.
Bangladesh was the second largest importer of spun yarns in February and accounted for around 15.5 per cent of all spun yarn exported from India. Export to Bangladesh fell 43.3 per cent in volumes and 35 per cent lower in value.
