Indorama Thailand plans to set up a two lakh tonnes Greenfield PET polymers manufacturing facility in Northern or Western India at an investment of $30 million. PET polymers are the basic raw material to manufacture PET bottles and PET packaging materials for storing chemicals in large quantity.

Indorama Thailand is a major manufacturer of purified terephthalic acid (PTA), polyester fibres and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) with a significant presence in Thailand, the US and Europe.
