India - Avani Textiles to set up two yarn spinning mills in Punjab

Avani Textiles will set up two yarn spinning mills in Sangrur district of Punjab. The units that will be set up in two phases will require an investment of Rs135 crore and will be operational by Jan 2009.
Both the units will have a spindle capacity of 25,000 spindles with a manufacturing capacity of 20 tonnes per day. The second phase will see an additional spindle capacity of 25,000 spindles.
